Home Inspections in Southwest Florida

A home inspection is one of the most important steps when buying a home in Southwest Florida. It can help identify potential issues with the roof, electrical system, plumbing, HVAC, foundation and other major components before you move forward with your purchase.

Depending on the home, Florida buyers may also benefit additional inspections depending on the property and insurance requirements. These can include a 4-point inspection, wind mitigation inspection, termite/WDO inspection, pool inspection, and inspections of well and septic systems.

Roof age and condition can be especially important in Florida because they may affect your ability to obtain homeowners insurance. Homes with private wells or septic systems may require additional testing, and properties with pools should have the pool equipment and systems evaluated.

As your Realtor, I can help you understand the inspection process, keep track of important contract deadlines, and help you determine what questions to ask once the inspection report is received.
